I've decided to start a semi-regular journal where I discuss my work on the MetrobayComix.com website that I co-own with my friend and business partner finister. I don't know how often I'll update, or what form this will eventually take, but I figure it will be a fun way to talk about the process behind creating adult fetish comix and running an erotic comix website.
Tonight we published the fourth and final chapter of "Plea Bargain" by Happenstance to the members gallery. Here's a link to the cover page: metrobay.eroticillusions.com/f…
Happenstance is a relatively new CGI artist who has a background in graphic design. In fact, he and Trishbot co-designed our Metrobay Comix 'rope and spiral' logo which we use on our covers and elsewhere. He also created some of the backgrounds and banners we use on our website and social media platforms. He seems to really like the character Kitten, and has given her a starring role in three of his stories. I've been trying to get him to work on a story with me, but he's a very busy dude so I don't know if that will happen anytime soon. Oh well. I'm in no rush. I ain't going nowhere.
Finister and I had a bit of a discussion over instant messenger about balancing sex and storyline in our comix. Our motto is "Come for the action, stay for the stories", so we try to be cognizant of the need for a healthy dose of both in each and every story we do. I think we do a reasonable job, but there is always room for improvement. If you have read any of our work before, what do you think?
Well, thanks for reading. As always, comments and other input are welcome and appreciated. Please feel free to share with your friends here on DA or elsewhere. Take care!

My Creative Process
Over at the Metrobay Comix messageboard (http://metrobay.eroticillusions.com/free/forums/) I was asked by longtime reader Lods to share the process I use to create a new comic. I'm flattered to be asked, and I thought it would be a good idea for a new blog post. So here we go.
Typically the creative process for a new story begins a couple of months (or more) before a current story ends. An idea for a story can pop into my head any time - in the car, in the shower, watching TV, whenever. I try to make a note of the idea when I can, because my short-term memory is shot to hell and if I don't send myself a note it might take a while before I re

Sometimes story building part of comix is too long... it takes some times to villains to capture all heroines before they will start to torture them. But there are other comix on the site where villains are already torturing heroines so it's not a big problem because I like when there is good story plot before sexy part of the comix. Just try not to start new stories in the same time in order to us have some sexy scenes in one and story plots in other comix during week updates.
